1. Purpose of research

The purpose of the research into PUF-based wireless networks for the Internet of Things (IoT) lies in addressing the pressing need for enhanced security and privacy in an increasingly interconnected world. Traditional security measures, such as passwords and cryptographic keys, often fall short due to their inherent rigidity and susceptibility to being compromised. Therefore, innovative approaches are required to safeguard sensitive information transmitted across these networks. Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) offer a promising solution by leveraging the unique physical characteristics of devices, which are influenced by variations in manufacturing processes.
